Tell Us About Your Design

My beachwear set has 3 components: A bra top (bikini top), bikini bottom, and sarong. The bikini top is a multi colored tribal pattern outlined with a black and white braided trim. The trim was used tie the top of the bikini as well. The side panels fabric is a zebra print. Over top of the side panel is a trim made from the main tribal fabric. The bikini bottom is a hot pink spandex material with zebra printed ties to secure. The sarong is a cotton wrap made with a kangaroo pouch in the front for detail. The net is sewn and secured in the kangaroo pouch.

Judges’ Rating: 2/5

Judges’ Comments: “I really love the tribal print selected and think it pairs well with the bright pink. However, I think that the black and white trim and zebra print really compete with the gorgeous tribal print. I’d suggest with sticking to one or two prints max. I’d also like to see this piece on an actual model because as shown on the mannequin, the bikini top looks very padded and does not lay flat. Would also like to see more of the bikini bottom because from what I can tell it is cute, but I can’t really get a sense for the cut or fit.” – Julie

What is a left handed pisces? Just think of the characteristic of a left handed person, and the characteristics of a pisces and you get a crazy, fun, creative person like me!!!! But, Every since I could remember, I used fashion as an outlet to express my personality, creativity, and mood. I have always had a “passion for fashion.” but often times put it on the back burner. Sewing has always been my favorite hobby, but now is the time to turn my dreams and admirations into realities Later on in life, around eight years old, I began to experiment with fabrics. I started with making simple Barbie clothes then advanced to cutting up my old clothes, and adding embellishments with broken or old jewelry I may have had. This continues onto today. The art of sewing comforts me, allowing me to dream, create, and fantasize out loud.
